WELCOME TO APSI

APSI is ever-growing and currently represents roughly 1600 members, made up of instructors, coaches, examiners and other snowsport industry professionals. We offer a four-level certification system and proudly operate certification courses in five disciplines - Alpine, Snowboard, Telemark, Nordic and Adaptive.

APSI Membership comes with a range of benefits and is a prerequisite for anyone wishing to participate in APSI courses and exams, apply for ISIA status through the APSI, validate or update APSI certifications, or order a reissued APSI certificate. Employers, both within Australia and abroad may also require a valid membership with an internationally recognised snowsports instructor training association for employment purposes.

COMING FROM ANOTHER ORGANISATION?

The aim of the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) program is to provide overseas qualified instructors with recognition of their qualifications and work experience when joining the Australian training pathway.

The guidelines are designed to mirror the training and work experience that any candidate moving through our system would complete.

Meeting the international RPL pre-requisites does not automatically allow internationally certified instructors to obtain an APSI qualification, nor is it a reflection of individual resort pay structures. It is in place to assist foreign instructors enter the APSI pathway.
