Winter Week is an exciting lineup of full-day professional development sessions for members working in the resorts across Australia! There is a range of topics on offer that develop your skills in all aspects of snowsports instruction. The interesting array of topics are led by APSI Trainers who are passionate about the particular topic they are leading and excited to share knowledge with you. Grab a friend and choose a topic you'd like to focus on. You can book one, or multiple days and each day counts as an update for your certification.

Winter Week Day training is $194 per full day and is packaged with a 2026 APSI Membership ($199), for a total package price of $393. If you already hold a 2026 APSI Membership, the $199 membership fee will be deducted from your total at checkout, leaving you to pay only the $194 training fee.

LEVEL 3/4 BUMP CAMP Monday 17 August | Thredbo | Ben Chapman | Alpine Join us for a day of bumps action! Chappy is an APSI trainer but also competition mogul coach and will be focusing on using concepts from the competitive mogul world and applying it to our own mogul skiing to analyse different line choice options in the bumps. Chappy will utilise a combination of drills on groomers, free bumps and zipperline mogul courses (if available), with video review in the afternoon. |

TURN SMARTER, EDGE BETTER Wednesday 19 August | Thredbo | Brian Carpentier | Alpine This clinic explores the connection between rotational movements and edge performance. The session will explore how refined rotary skills can create more precise, more efficient, and edgier turns. A key focus will be the role of leg circumduction movements and how they can unlock higher edge angles, providing more grip and control. Through a guided discovery segment in the morning exploring different rotary strategies, and moving through the day into their application in various skiing situations, this clinic will provide new insights for how participants think of edging and rotary skills in their own skiing. We will Explore how the skis’ edge interacts with the snow within the context of the performance model and how this changes depending on the type of leg rotation used. |

Join Duane, current APSI National Team member, for a fun day exploring the fundamentals of dynamic long turns, including progressive edging, angulation, and turn shape. This clinic will focus on creating clean, efficient arcs while developing stronger outside ski performance, improved flow, and better speed control through the completion phase of the turn. FREESTYLE DEVELOPMENT DAY Wednesday 2 September | Perisher | Oscar Alston | Snowboard This Winter Week Freestyle Development Day led by Oscar Alston is designed to create a safe and fun learning environment for those wanting to improve their freestyle skills on a variety of skills The day will focus on reducing the fear factor by implementing psychological strategies, ongoing coaching, deliberate practice strategies, video analysis and a relaxed supportive freestyle environment fostered by your peers. This day will operate concurrently with a Freestyle Development Day (L4 Fresstyle Resit) for those engaged in the Level 4 CBFS process.
