SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED

The Advancing Women in Snowsport (AWS) Scholarship for women is designed to support and encourage women to pursue advanced levels of certification in the snowsports industry. This scholarship will provide financial assistance to deserving women who have demonstrated leadership qualities and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the industry. By supporting women to advance in their careers, the AWS Scholarship for women will help to build a more diverse and inclusive snowsports community.

The Scholarship panel were overwhelmed with 15 incredibly strong applicants, all of whom demonstrated a clear passion for snowports, education, and supporting women in the industry. During the application process, several women attended interviews with the panel prior to a final decision being reached.
