APSI Trainers Coordination 2026

The APSI Trainers Coordination is a key event on the calendar, bringing together trainers who deliver in-house training within Australian snowsports schools. The event provides an important opportunity to align on curriculum updates, training strategies, and course requirements, helping ensure consistent, high-quality training standards across resorts nationwide.

This year’s main event in Thredbo welcomed 154 trainers across Alpine, Snowboard, Nordic, Telemark and Adaptive disciplines for a full day of professional development, collaboration and knowledge sharing. Guided by APSI Technical Committee Members, attendees participated in discussions and on-snow sessions focused on trainer development, technical performance and teaching methodology.

In 2026, APSI introduced a new 'satellite event' model to better support resorts and their staff, while allowing even more trainers to engage with APSI education and season preparation. By expanding Trainers Coordination to include satellite events in New South Wales and Victoria, APSI has created more opportunities for trainers to participate closer to home, significantly reducing travel and accommodation costs while improving accessibility.

A huge thank you to Thredbo, Falls Creek and Perisher for hosting this year’s Trainers Coordination events and for supporting APSI in delivering such valuable professional development opportunities for all our in-house trainers.
