Hotham Newly redeveloped Big D Precinct at Mt. Hotham

Hotham officially launched its newly redeveloped Big D Precinct in June, unveiling a top-to-bottom terrain park that’s set to redefine freestyle riding in Australia.

The Big D Terrain Park features custom-built jumps, rails, boxes, and jib features, all serviced by the Big D Quad for fast laps and maximum progression. It’s a bold move that reflects Hotham’s commitment to innovation and its deep connection to the snow community.

It’s already proving a popular addition to the Hotham offering as a platform for creativity, progression, and connection. The transformation of Big D also offers off-mountain activities, including shopping at the new Mini Box retail store and relaxing at Frankie’s café overlooking the park.

The park’s potential to support both recreational riders and development programs, with future plans for night freestyle events and expanded indoor facilities, promises exciting times ahead for Hotham.

As the season kicks off, Big D is a symbol of Hotham’s vision for the future, where sport, community, and experience come together on snow.
