APSI Delivers First Ever Alpine Level 1 Course at Ben Lomond Alpine Resort
APSI has successfully delivered its first ever Alpine Level 1 Course at Ben Lomond Alpine Resort, marking an exciting milestone in expanding professional snowsports education and instructor certification across Australia.
The course provided aspiring instructors with the opportunity to develop the technical, teaching and people skills required to begin their journey as certified snowsports instructors, while also strengthening APSI's presence within Tasmania's snowsports community.
To further support instructor development at the resort, the course was delivered alongside a National Training Coordinator (NTC) Day for Ben Lomond's in-house training staff. This collaborative initiative ensures that the resort's internal instructor training aligns with APSI's national standards and is recognised as part of the APSI training pathway. By working together, APSI and Ben Lomond Alpine Resort are creating clearer development opportunities for instructors and supporting greater consistency in training and education.
The successful delivery of both the Alpine Level 1 Course and NTC Day reflects a shared commitment to developing high-quality instructors and creating accessible professional development opportunities across Australia's snowsports industry.
APSI would like to sincerely thank Ben Lomond Alpine Resort for its outstanding support, enthusiasm and collaboration in making this initiative possible. The willingness of the resort management and training team to work closely with APSI has been instrumental in establishing this important milestone.
We look forward to continuing to build our partnership with Ben Lomond Alpine Resort and supporting the ongoing development of instructors in Tasmania for many years to come.
