The Snow Women Networking Evening

Held on 12 July at Rydges Jindabyne, The Snow Women Networking Evening brought together more than 80 people from across the snow industry for an evening of networking, support and inspiration. Organised by Snow Australia's Women of Winter (WoW) initiative in collaboration with APSI's Advancing Women in Snowsports (AWS), the event was hosted by Caroline Brauer and featured guest speakers Manuela Berchtold, Shea de Lorenzo and Elaine Purser.

Manuela Berchtold shared insights from her journey as a two time Winter Olympian and business owner, highlighting the importance of resilience and long-term wellbeing in sport.

Shea de Lorenzo reflected on the value of creating supportive pathways for women pursuing careers in the snowsports industry.

Elaine Purser drew on her leadership and HR experience to discuss healthy workplace culture, inclusive leadership and building environments where people can thrive.

The event successfully fostered a supportive environment, allowing attendees to connect, share experiences and strengthen professional networks. The positive atmosphere made it a memorable evening for all involved, and we are already looking forward to next year!
