Ski/Snowboard instructor as a Ski Camp Counsellor Viamonde is a Swiss company, specialising in providing quality, innovative, ski and snowboard programmes to international schools We are now recruiting enthusiastic, professional and caring individuals to join our dynamic team of staff in Switzerland next winter. The international schools we work with from all over the world demand the very highest standards of supervision and care for their students and we recruit only those with the very best skills and experience. If you have the personality, experience and flexibility we require and enjoy working with children of all ages from diverse cultural backgrounds, a position with Viamonde will be an incredibly rewarding experience and afford the opportunity to meet many similarly-minded young people, establish lasting friendships and spend a winter in a Swiss ski resort. Ski and snowboard instructors fulfil the role of counsellors and are responsible for the daily supervision and instruction of a small group of children. You must be a role model to the children, act responsibly and in a caring manner at all times and show an understanding of and appreciation for diverse cultural backgrounds. In addition to the daily ski/snowboard programme, you will participate in a programme of evening activities, supervise meals and be assigned to some wake-up, lights-out and other duties. Applicants should be at least 21 years old, hold a recognised ski/snowboard instructor certificate and first aid qualifications and be organised, creative, adaptable, trustworthy, patient and presentable. Salary after deductions is Swiss Francs 343/week (approximately AUS$354 as of May 2008). All positions are residential and include full room and board, accident and liability insurance and a ski lift pass for the duration of employment. All applicants must be fluent in English.
